Rookie Level - Skill Building

The Rookie Level includes the See It and the Try It. The See It is a step-by-step example that teaches students a particular math skill using multiple presentations such as modeling and estimation. The Try It is a form of guided practice through which students build confidence by repeatedly trying problems similar to those presented in the See It. In a Try It, students are not penalized for incorrect answers, but get to "Try Again."
